How to try an autonomous bus in Shenzhen

Qianhai routes B996–B999
The January 2026 report lists B996, B997, B998 and B999. In WeChat, search 深巴出行 (SZBG Travel), open the autonomous-driving entry and check the current stops, timetable and reservation.
Luohu route B888
The launch notice describes Luohu Port to Sungang MixC Food Hall via areas including Guomao and Grand Theatre. It lists 深巴出行 and, for Hong Kong visitors, KMB’s APP1933 to check, reserve and scan a boarding code. Check the current fare and timetable.
Check who can board
Confirm each passenger’s date, departure, boarding point, age, companion, phone and ID requirements. If you’re using an overseas passport or number, call Shenzhen Bus Group on +86 755 8316 1116 and ask about that route and date.
Save your boarding instructions
Keep the confirmed instructions and code. If you can’t book, use ordinary transport and keep a retail or museum stop as the main activity.
