How to ask

On the form

Write “card only — please confirm terminal”. Mailbox hueyluox@gmail.com.

On the phone

Say the store and “Visa or Mastercard today?”.

On arrival

If the terminal declines, switch to the backup. This is not a scam tell.

No upsell

A declined card is not a cue to buy a membership.
