The equipment sounded a little noisy at first, and the therapist thoughtfully asked whether I'd like earplugs. I declined, and as the treatment went on, I actually found the sound quite soothing. I was so relaxed that I gradually fell asleep. The hands-on massage was excellent too, easing all my sore spots. Then, while I was lying on my back, they fitted negative-pressure leg sleeves that reached up to my thighs. They felt a bit like oversized blood-pressure cuffs, inflating and deflating in cycles, and really eased my muscle fatigue. An eye mask was available at this stage too. Besides the equipment treatment, I've also tried the Himalayan mineral-salt heat treatment, which includes hot-stone massage. It's wonderfully warm and comfortable in winter—another treatment I'd highly recommend!
