Can overseas visitors book a Shenzhen robotaxi?
Use PonyPilot to check your route and confirm your own account and document requirements before going to the pickup point.

Check the actual route in PonyPilot
Follow Pony.ai’s App Store or Google Play link, choose Shenzhen and check pickup and destination. Its March 2025 announcement described Nanshan service and a PonyPilot WeChat mini-program. Use the current app map for your trip.
Check registration before travelling
Check country code, identity verification, document type and payment method. Ask app support whether your passport and phone number can book the route. Check current age and companion rules for everyone.
Keep regular transport available
Check the pickup pin, boarding instructions, fare and destination before accepting. For a fixed meeting, train or flight, keep public transport or a taxi as a backup.
If you can’t book
Choose DJI OCT Harbour or Huawei retail as the main stop, or check the autonomous bus separately for its own reservation and ID rules.
